estate sailing.

I made it a point to bring my camera to the sale that day, but I was so overwhelmed by the beauty of the home I forgot to take pictures!

I was too busy gasping at this yellow 50’s kitchen in the upstairs apartment. I wanted to live their in that house in that apartment, it covered the whole upstairs. It had a large eat in kitchen, pantry, sun room, large bedroom and bathroom, closets, and a large living room with FIREPLACE and high ceilings! Did I mention it was on the second floor like a mother daughter house? There was room for large couches and even a piano. I was drooling at the built in shelves in the door of a closet(I don’t know what I would put on it though, every time you open the door, stuff could fall off the shelf!). I could have lived very happy in that bright yellow kitchen with vintage appliances.

The downstairs had a large master suite with a sitting room/office/dressing room/whatever you want. A small bathroom hid behind a door in the hallway with a caddy corner sink thats just like the ones in NYC restaurant bathrooms. The kitchen had fake brick and wallpaper, original wood cabinets, a camouflaged fridge and built in desk. There was gorgeous french doors with glass knobs everywhere and built in cabinets and bookcases. The basement had multiple rooms, a gorgeous 60’s black leather couch, a professional bar with professional sinks and a full bathroom. Sigh…
